2007 FINANCIAL YEARORGANISATION· Ensure pickups remain free for the aged and disadvantaged members of our community · Continue to liaise with Community Corrections, SkillCentred, TESS and WBV to further develop and extend in-house training programs · Continue to develop the community profile of “REUSE & RECYCLE” through low cost advertising · Maximise profits returned to the community through our various programs · Provide plant and equipment commensurate with growth
WORK HEALTH & SAFETY· Absolutely no testing of electrical equipment by employees, volunteers or customers will be permitted · Theft and/or Abuse will not be tolerated
RESOURCE RECOVERY· Ensure the regular removal of recyclable items to appropriate waste streams is maintained inline with growth patterns · Source and train volunteers in the identification, safe recovery and processing of resources not suited for sale at the Market Facility · Continue to assist other contractors and council staff wherever possible
MARKET SALES FACILITY· Ensure the regular removal of sold and unsold items is maintained inline with current growth patterns · Continue the development of volunteer teams specific to the maintenance and presentation of the Market Sales Facility · Maximise storage by constructing purpose built shelving for yard items
TRANSFER STATIONS & LANDFILL· Maintain the Transfer Stations and Landfill in a clean and tidy condition and provide staff in line with growth patterns · Ensure the regular removal of recyclable items to all waste streams is maintained in line with current growth patterns · Source and train volunteers for general duties |
